Alpha Phi Omega is a national organization that develops leaders through service and brotherhood. Membership is open to any currently enrolled student at the Colorado School of Mines. Membership is conferred upon students who successfully complete our pledge program, which starts at the end of our recruitment week each semester. If you are interested in joining please come to one of our recruitment events or contact us at join@apo-mupi.org.

WERE YOU A BOY SCOUT OR GIRL SCOUT?

Did you know that APO was founded upon the principles of the Scout Oath & Law and was recognized as the National Honorary Scout Fraternity in 1932? Membership in scouting is no longer required for membership in APO, but the Fraternity maintains a national partnership with both the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and continues to work closely with both organizations. Membership in APO is a great way to continue your service and leadership development from scouting.

WERE YOU A MEMBER OF NHS OR KEY CLUB?

If you enjoyed involvement with these, or similar, groups in high school then you will love APO! Members of APO have a direct say over the chapter's service program and plenty of opportunities for leadership development beyond just holding a chapter officer position.
